Let me just say that this is one of the cutest families ever! Mom and dad are so sweet and so totally obviously in love ❤ then you throw into the mix the super adorable little Mr. Owen, the sweetest little one year old boy you will ever know! They were a fun little bunch to photograph, made my job oh so easy 🙂
thanks 🙂 amanda
I have been TERRIBLE at taking my 30 day pictures this past week! I have been insanely busy making and packaging hats for lilian.grace and then went on a little vacation to see my mom and other family and of course now we all have colds and today is the hubs and mine 7th anniversary! Busy busy busy! Oh, and in the middle of that I did a mini family session as well as a little commercial session. Anyways…here is my catch up photos 🙂
DAY 3 – CLOUDS
sooo…this one was hard since I live in the Pacific Northwest and it is fall. If you have ever been in this general area at this time you will know that there is one constant cloud hovering over us for 5 months. BUT! I did go visit my momma this week and took some pictures from the car (shhhh, I know, I know…not safe)!
Here is another of clouds I got on the drive home (again, I know unsafe…blah blah blah). I could not pick! See the moon??!? Isn’t that awesome! This was at 7 am, crazy! 🙂
DAY 4 – SOMETHING (partially!) GREEN
I did not find anything green that was screaming at me 🙂 So this is it! There is this super random olllllddddd gas station literally in the middle of nowhere in Oregon and there are these two super awesome gas machine thingys (yeah, getting all technical here). In my defense this DOES have green on it!
DAY 5 – FROM A HIGH ANGLE
i have to say i had a heck of a time shooting the high and low angle photos! maybe because i am exhausted, have a million things to do and it is dark in here so the lighting is waayyy off. oh well, here are some cupcakes my hubby and daughter made for me. uhhh…yum, i love chocolate!!! 🙂
DAY 6 – FROM A LOW ANGLE
a friend of mine is an amazing artist and I am sooooo very lucky to be able to hang one of her pieces in my home!! check her blog out HERE
DAY 7 – VEGETABLE
So I was up late working and talking to my sisters and bro in law and it dawned on me that I should take a picture of the veggies we were eating 😉 Hence the poorly lit and grainy photo!
DAY 8 -A BAD HABIT
I loooooooove fabric and ribbons and all things crafty. I must have it all! Yeah, it is a real bad habit 🙂
DAY 9 – SOMEONE YOU LOVE
The little love of my life! She is such a sweet and good little girl 🙂
DAY 10 – A CHILDHOOD MEMORY
meet Clyde, my dog 🙂 My grandma made him for me when I was a wee one, I think he is supposed to be Snoopy but I am not sure…all I know is that he has been loved for many a year and now sleeps in my daughters bed 🙂
DAY 11 – SOMETHING BLUE
juniper berries…nuff said 🙂
DAY 12 – SUNSET
DAY 13 – SOMETHING OLD
Uhhhhh…I couldn’t get myself to post the 100,000 miles picture! My car, I love it…it is getting old
DAY 14 – EYES
And this is the other little love of my life. Those eyes! Aren’t they killer!??!?! Icey blue…phew! And, no I did not touch them in any way when processing this photo 🙂
DAY 15 – YOUR SHOES
I never liked Toms till I choked it up and bought a pair…still not in love with how they look but man oh man are they comfy!!! I love them now 🙂 And flats are coming in the spring…ahhhh!!!!!!
alrighty…that is it till next Sunday! Be sure to check out the others to see what there interpretation on the theme is…love seeing what they come up with too! ❤ amanda
first off i just have to say that i looooooove taking product pictures! especially when they are so fun and fantastic as these feather earrings! they are the perfect little addition to any outfit 🙂 as well as a great gift for your bff or sister (hint hint)!! go check her out on her facebook page HERE.
i also dabbled a little into graphic design and made her a logo as well as other branding materials…all the photos posted have her lovely new logo made my me 🙂
if you are looking for professional photos of your products please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org … i would love to work with you!
i have been spending the last few weeks working tirelessly getting my etsy store lilian.grace a complete overhaul! i loved what i was making before but it was not ME…it was what i thought everyone wanted and wanted me to be. so my quest for ME was found in my new line and new branding and i couldnt be happier with the results! lilian.grace has a vintage and natural feel to it…i just love it all! i now carry victorian inspired hats, natural burlap and canvas crowns, lace crowns and rag banners ❤
my branding really took off when i was (yet again!) perusing etsy and saw this super sweet little deer stamp from blossom stamps. of course i purchased it right away! (and a side note…they are super nice and great to work with!!) so in a nutshell, i want to share with you my new, more ME, store…go and “like” it on facebook or “favorite” it on etsy or “pin” it on pinterest or “tweet” about it or better yet purchase something 🙂 hahaha
So I was doing what I do WAY too often…pinning and repinning and inspiration hunting on Pinterest 🙂 and I came across this 30 Day Photo Challenge that some photographer did. It sounded like so much fun! I put it off, and put it off and kind of forgot about it then a friend mentioned it and a little light bulb flashed! We can do this as a group! How fun!? We will each be posting our previous weeks photos every Sunday and will also attach links so you can go check out their photos too. It will be interesting to see how the other person photographs each subject. My interpretation of one theme will be completely different than another’s.
I kept a few of the original daily themes but decided to change a few…here is what the expect over the next 30 days!
Day 1 – Self Portrait
This. was. hard. There is a reason I am BEHIND that camera…I hate my picture being taken! This is me. I like long walks on the beach. Bunnies. And pink. No…not really. I am actually quite boring 🙂 I love chocolate. Love, love chocolate. Smores make my knees weak. I love all things Disney. Jeans, oh I heart them. And sweatshirts, I live in them September through August 😛 I love my camera. Blue. I love to sew and just about anything crafty…except knitting, I loathe that entirely. Peanuts are my kryptonite. I ❤ my family. And this mustache. I am totally going to use them to help people loosen up during a session from now on 🙂
Day 2 – what you wore today
Remember how I said I live in my sweatshirts? I am not going to grace you with my nasty college sweatshirt today, your welcome. Instead here is the beautiful bracelet my momma got for me a few Christmas’ ago…I love it! It is Chan Luu and so cool!
Well! That’s it for now! See you next Sunday with my photos again 🙂 Amanda

Rustic and Redefined Design Frames | Amanda Buechler Photography | Bothell, WA Commercial Photographer
While checking out etsy one day for some fun yet traditional frames I stumbled upon Rustic and Refined Design ..and man am I glad that I did! What I love the most is that they make their frames from what “we like to call ‘recycled’ or made from wood scraps that were going to be burned”! So they are making something that would otherwise be considered unusable into a beautiful frame 🙂 I also love that they do not cost an arm and a leg!
Harmony has gracious offered my clients a discount on their framing needs…so if you are in the market to frame your lovely Amanda Buechler Photography photos then you have come to the right place 🙂
Without further ado here are some photos of the lovely frames from Rustic and Refined Design…
