hi everyone!!!! i can not even begin to thank each and everyone of my fans and friends enough for supporting me in not just one, but two, of my passions! i am so lucky to have turned something i completely love into a thriving business! i am so excited to see what the new year has in store for myself as well as you all 🙂 as i was putting together this giveaway i thought of all the people and shops i have encountered and loved over the last 9 months. most of these fabulous businesses in some way or another have helped me get where i am…whether that is making me a logo, bringing a little more life to my photos, giving me an outlet to talk to other photographers, giving me a place to share my photos with each family, a way to showcase my photos on the wall or many many other things. i also have chosen a few newer shops that i have come across recently…i know i am not a large shop by any means but i would love to be able to some how pay it forward to new shops that are just starting out. starting a business is difficult and knowing someone believes in your product is huge! well, to me anyways 🙂 i am thankful for those that believed in me when i first started! without you i would not be where i am today! so thank you…and to pay you all back i put this celebration together. this is a photographers dream come true! everything you could ever possibly need to make your business look beautiful as well as help you along to that next level 🙂 without further ado here is the fabulous line up…

My 19 month old hasnt been “talking” or “using as many words” as he maybe should be, but this past week he has come up with a few new “words”: “ticka ticka ticka!” (tickle tickle tickle!) “Love” and “Moo”. that puts a BIG OLE smile on my face 😀
what made me smile this week is my little boy hes almost 15 months and he is just so full of life and laughter, he cracks me up every day with his silly facial expresions and now he is starting to finally walk on his own which makes me a proud mama.

entry number 1: what made me smile this week? my sick daughter. while it isn’t a happy time in our house with my baby sick, she’s 5, and hates to miss school, last night we had to take her to the er. she was miserable, and when she got home, she was all giggles, saying “momma, the nice doc lady said i get to stay home and cuddle you tomorrow!” wow! what a heartwarming moment from my lil monkey! (a second moment was when I was asked to do photography for my mommy group’s santa photos this friday!)
What made me smile? Well something that WILL make me smile this week is my college graduation on Saturday. I am so excited to be closing one chapter of my life and starting another!

The one thing that made me smile this week was my son singing Happy Birthday to my husband! His eyes lite up like it was his birthday and seeing his daddy smile made it all too perfect!!

What made me smile this past week: Watching my two girls (13 and 1) play together. Watching them bond always makes me smile ❤
Monday evening I watched my daughter sing in her choirs holiday concert. Watching my baby up on stage doing what she loves makes me smile, its a beautiful thing to see your child happy!

Entry #1: What made me smile this week? My 23 month old daughter who got her first “big girl bed”. She woke up after her 1st night’s sleep in it, ran to my room and said “Mommy, come quick!” Ran back to her room and said “Look! Beautiful princess bed!”, jumped in and smiled! I turned 32 today…that’s what made me smile this week!
Entry #1, My grandparents asked me to do a shoot of them with my daughter. (their great grand daughter) They were so happy with how they came out, and I know my daughter will cherish these as she grows up. Definitely a smile maker 😉

This may sound trivial but I had a VERY picky client. Well actually the entire family. I did a photo shoot for them and they had me do 3 headswaps and open the eyes on one person in the photo. The moment that made me smile was getting the 11×14 print back from my company and it actually looking perfect with no blending issues! Woo Hoo

Something made me smile earlier today. My 3 yr. old son usually picks on his 18 month old sister and doesn’t play very nicely. We’ve been trying to teach him to share toys and play fair. Well, it was quiet coming from their bedrooms in the hall so I peeked around the corner and found them sitting together in the corner playing with a toy. Sharing and getting along! I was proud of him! Maybe all the talks are starting to sink in!

Entry #1: What made me smile today: My husband not being able to wait until Christmas to give our one-year-old his little ride-on quad … and how much he loved riding on it nearly 3 weeks early…
This week I have had many things to smile about…
Firstly, I have a new and my first “L” series Canon lens (YAY!),
Secondly, my 2 year old sat on Santa’s knee and this year she wasn’t scared of him. She had a lovely babbling conversation with him which he thought was very amusing.
Thirdly, I was testing out my lens and my 3 month old baby gave me the most beautiful smiles and I snapped the most precious picture of her.
And lastly, my 6 year old daughter told me that she loves me “to infinity and beyond!”
This week, my grandmother made me smile. She has been such a huge help in my life recently, and I am profoundly grateful. She has had an amazing life and I love to listen when she shares snippets. That is what made me smile 🙂

I smiled when my new camera bag arrived!! Merry christmas to me! And when my 3 yr old came running in smiling because our elf on the shelf wrote on our mirror.
I smiled when I woke up to the first snow of the season…it’s always a little magical

What made me smile this week? Well DUH, reading about this giveaway! LOL – oh, and snuggling with my hubby, playing games with my little girl, chasing off a bunch of teen’s with my huge St. Bernard mix (They thought they were going to get to prank our house, hah) … So yeah, in a nutshell, there’s just too much stuff to mention.
What made me smile this week? Long story short, my cousin went off to Army basic training in August. He, unfortunately, was injured during the training period and was told he’d need to come home and rest up for at least 6 months before returning to the service. He got home two days ago, and we were happy to see him. What made me smile though, was hearing the story about what happened at the airport when his little brother (6 years old) saw him coming down the ramp to meet them. Apparently, they literally, had to hold him to his chair to ensure he didn’t go running through the crowd. Once he met them at the end of the ramp, my baby cousin (who is TERRIFIED of heights), let my 6’5” cousin pick him up and all he could keep saying was, “I missed you so much, John…I missed you…” And typing it, I’m smiling and tearing up. I wish I’d been there to see it 🙂

We had a family Christmas this weekend..it was great watching the little ones opening their presents..I was very proud of my 2 1/2 year old who would say thank you after opening each present!! My husband works a lot and we have a 4 month old boy. This past weekend we got to spend more time than usual together. I have never seen my baby’s face light up so much to see his daddy as it did this morning when we were getting ready for work. It is so amazing to see the two of them together. What made me smile? Coming back to the states to visit family for the Holidays!! We are stationed overseas with the military and have not been home in a year.

Entry #1: What made me smile this week… My 3 younguns made me smile when we arrived at our soon to be new house (my husband works for 2 weeks at a time, 580kms away from us and lives in the new house) and boy did they get a surprise when they walked into the house and saw that before we arrived their father had put up the Xmas tree (that I snuck into his car before he left for the 2 weeks), lights were hung all throughout the house and their presents all laid out ike a feast.
The kids thought we weren’t putting the tree up this year because of all the travelling backwards and forwards over the big distance. Was amazing to see them so happy.
What made me smile this week? My 8 months used her own baby hair brush to comb her own hair while I was getting ready:D she never cease to amaze me!
Watching my son (nearly 2) having so much fun in the bath last night, made me smile!!

What made me smile is knowing my son who is away at college misses us so much and wanted to be home on Christmas day that he almost gave up a free trip to Hawaii to be home with us and my home cooking. Needless to say, I told him this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and not to miss out on it and that we’ll see him right after the trip. He’ll be with his school’s Marching band so be on the lookout for him playing the Sousaphone during the bowl game on Christmas Eve (University of Nevada, Reno). I am such a proud momma :).

what made me smile this week, watching my 3 year old feed my 4 month old for the first time and hearing her say, “Good job, baby brother”, not only did it make me smile but it showed me that I am doing an awesome job as a mother and teacher.

Entry #1 : What made me smile this week? I will try to make it short. My 14 year old son (who is one of 5 boys we have), had a birthday Saturday. He ended up with about 100.00 when it was over. So at his request, I took him to the store to spend his money. He was only looking for one thing (a jacket). And I also had my youngest son with us. (none of the boys have jackets this yr.). My son found him a jacket, and came out of the store with one jacket for each of his brothers. I never asked him to, nor did I know that he was doing it. It really brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye that at 14 he is completely unselfish, and very caring twards his brothers. That made me smile.

The thing that made me smile this week was my 6th month old put his head down on my shoulder while we were out shopping when he got sleepy. He has done this before, but this time he left it there, and wrapped his little arm around me. 🙂
Having my clients tell me that they LOVE their Maternity pictures and they are booking 2 more sessions. One for another Maternity shoot when she is further along and another when their little boy arrives. 🙂

Entry #1 What made me smile…
There are a few things this past week that have really made me smile, 1 being that my husband got me a green screen which I have been playing with endlessly since it has came in and the other thing that made me smile was my boys told me they are being good because santa told them to be good to mommy and daddy. lol. It was the cutest thing ever.
I said “you two are being really good what do you want?”
my oldest son said “well mom santa told me to be good, especially to you”
It made my holiday.

Entry #1: What made me smile this week: My daughter is 4 months old in a few days… she just found out that she can use her voice for more than just her “hungry cries” and happy squeals. She’s been screeching ALL day long and it just brings the biggest smile to my face! I love her so much!

What made me smile this last week? I watched a 5yr old boy with CP take 4 steps on his own! He actually walked without my support! Made my heart smile 🙂 Life is good!

What made me smile this week – not only getting to watch one baby have the best time with their smash cake but TWO! My boy/girl twins turned one this week and we had a blast watching them at their first birthday party. They are so much fun watching them interact and grow together.

When my kids said their evening prayers the other night and asked not one thing for themselves, instead made requests for their loved ones and for our doggy who passed away this week. Their thoughfulness (in a season of gimme-gimme takeovers) made me and my heart smile 🙂
When my little boy kept smiling up at me when he was supposed to be taking his nap (and I was taking one too!). I asked him what made him so happy and he said, “Mommy makes me happy!”
My mailman made me smile when he dropped off my Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens. 🙂

Hmmm my kids make me smile at least once a day but what put the cherry on top is when they went to see Santa at school today my oldest son took his lil sister by the hand and calmed her down. She is scared of Santa but he guided and talked her through it! Melted my heart and made me miss my brother… I think I smiled big after I took the picture my lil heart of gold help me get! 😀

What made me smile this week?….Hmm, considering I’m 9 months pregnant, I haven’t smiled a whole lot, lol, but tonight, I watched my two little girls do their first stuffed animal in build a bear workshop and it was kinda magical.

I live in Japan and teach English to the locals. This week I gave out Christmas presents to all of my students. One of my students is a 6 year old little boy who is just learning the language and so he is very shy. When I gave him his present I could just see the excitement in his eyes! I gave him a “Cars” book since that is his favorite Disney movie. He was so happy and had the biggest smile on his face and said, “Thank you!” It is something small, but it made me smile that he said “Thank you” in English.

What made me smile this week was watching my 16 month old daughter open up gifts and spending more time playing with the wrapping paper than the actual gift.
I smiled this week when making Christmas cookies with my children and my youngest (4) went and got the camera and said “Mom we have to take pictures to get the memories”! PRECIOUS!

Here’s a great website that tells all about copyrights, who needs them, how to use them, when to enforce them, etc…. Its very helpful! Lots of good info on there!!!!

Something that made me smile…. hmmmm there are lots! 🙂 Tonight I took my daughter and drove around to see Christmas lights. One house had a light show. You sat in your car tuned your radio to a certain channel and got to listen to the music and watch the lights. She loved it! Watching her face light up with joy and laughter brings the biggest smile to my face. 🙂
